Pada 10 Mei ini, Amanda Imani akan berangkat ke Varna, Bulgaria di mana dari 13 hingga 15 Mei, dia akan menyertai edisi ke 20 International Pop Music Festival Discovery 2011.
Di festival muzik tersebut, penyanyi muda ini akan bertanding dalam dua kategori iaitu Lagu Terbaik, di mana dia akan mempersembahkan sebuah karya original, “Selamilah Cinta” dan Penyanyi Terbaik dengan mendendangkan lagu popular Mariah Carey, “Hero”.
Selain Malaysia, negara-negara lain yang turut menghantar wakil untuk bertanding termasuk Itali, Rusia, China, Sepanyol, Turki, Sri Lanka, Ukraine dan Romania.
Amanda telah disenaraipendek oleh presiden dan pengasas International Music Festival Discovery, Dono Tsvetkov.
Semoga Amanda berjaya mengharumkan nama negara di sana.
Amanda Imani shall be representing Malaysia in two categories
1) Best Song category – original song by artist – SELAMILAH CINTA (Amanda Imani)
2) Best Singer Category – cover song – HERO (Mariah Carey)

Amanda Imani is greatly honoured by this opportunity. She was shortlisted by Mr Dono Tsvetkov: President & Founder of the International Music Festival Discovery. Upon the Board’s official invitation to the Music Festival, Amanda reached out to secure sponsors to help realize this challenge; all in a very short time. She is encouraged by the show of support; the trust and believe that the sponsors hold in her music and her potential. Mr Ong Peng Chu of Prism had earlier mentioned to Amanda of this prestigious Music Festival. Amanda Imani is in the midst of active preparations for the competition.
