Mark Lee and Gurmit Singh as Taxi Drivers and Now Singers?
A few months back news broke that Singapore actors Mark Lee and Gurmit Singh will be involved in an upcoming movie, as taxi drivers is an upcoming inspiration comedy that reunites 2 major stars in the Singapore entertainment industry after 11 years: Mark Lee and Gurmit Singh.
They are joined by an impressive assembly of well-known Malaysian and Singaporean actors such as Gan Mei Yen, Aunty Lai Meng, and internet child sensation Dr. JiaJia. No doubt audiences will be in for a taxi ride filled with fun and laughter when the movie is released!
[dropcap]S[/dropcap]et to be released late January next year, the Singaporean internet space is already abuzz with hype surrounding the movie trailer. Fans should look forward to the end of this week where promotions for the movie will kick into full gear with TV and online promos of Mark Lee, Gurmit Singh and Dr. JiaJia debuting the official movie posters and the catchy theme song music video from. The music video foris all set to take the internet by storm, with “taxi drivers” Mark Lee and Gurmit Singh lending their voice to sing the theme song for the movie!

Withbeing his movie debut, this Primary One kid is the star of his own Youtube video series that is famous for his “Singlish” which garnered over 3.6 million views, over 10 thousand fans on Facebook turning his video clips and himself into an internet sensations.
His innocent and funny clips attract both adults and children and brightens the days of everyone who comes across them – and it also helps he’s so adorable.
With his boundless energy on and off the set, even Mark Lee (who acts as his father in the movie) is left crying for help!
For now, we’ll slyly hint that’s trailer will soon be released in Malaysia and the Malaysian version will be different than its Singaporean counterpart.
