Airline re-introduces direct connectivity from Kuala Lumpur – Clark with flights commencing 17 Oct

AirAsia is re-introducing its direct flights from Kuala Lumpur – Clark in the Philippines to the market again with 4x weekly flights beginning 17th October 2014. Guests are able to book this route with all-in-fares from as low as RM129 one way beginning today.

The re-introduction of this route marks AirAsia’s fourth destination in the Philippines connected directly from AirAsia’s biggest hub, Kuala Lumpur; after Manila, Cebu & Kalibo. Apart from Kuala Lumpur, guests are also able to connect from Kota Kinabalu direct to Manila.

The promotional fares from RM129 onwards, inclusive of taxes and fees are available online at www.airasia.com from today, and guests are able to travel from the date of commencement which is 17th October. Guests are also able to book seats for this route via AirAsia’s mobile apps on iPhone, Android devices and the Blackberry 10, and also AirAsia’s mobile site at mobile.airasia.com.

In conjunction with this announcement, AirAsiaGo, the holiday division of the world’s best low cost airline will also be offering Hotel Deals from as low as RM59 per room per night. This deal can be booked online at www.AirAsiaGo.com from Now – 10 August 2014, and for the travel period within 17 Oct 2014 – 28 February 2015.

This 4x weekly flights will be operated by Malaysia AirAsia with the flight code AK, on every Mondays, Wednesday, Fridays and Sundays.

Clark was previously an American military base in the yesteryears, and has now been converted to the Clark Freeport Zone. There are many things to see, eat and do at this city with various historical landmarks & sites to explore, as well as family-themed parks and activities such as hot-air balloon rides, visiting the zoo, and horseback riding. Apart from that, Clark also offers a great shopping experience with its Freeport Zone status.

AirAsia currently connects Malaysia to the Philippines with direct flights from Kuala Lumpur – Manila and Kuala Lumpur – Cebu with 2x daily and 3x weekly flights respectively, while guests from Kota Kinabalu can connect to the capital city of Manila with daily flights.

Guests can take advantage of AirAsia’s network domestically in the Philippines; and connect onwards to nearby cities of Tacloban, Puerto Princessa – Palawan, Tagbilaran, Kalibo or Cebu as well.
