The anniversary celebration kicked off with an inaugural fashion model contest, where Jo Lee took home RM5,000 in cash and became the ‘Face Of Setia City Mall’, chosen to star in the mall’s future marketing campaigns. The campaign began last month with Setia City Mall inviting local residents to sign up for the opportunity to represent the mall; instead of turning to traditional models. The 17 finalists chosen by the community through public voting on Facebook were judged by Philippa Holmes, General Manager of Setia City Mall, Aileen Soo, the editor of Style Magazine, prominent local fashion bloggers and fashion experts from Diva Productions. The winner, Jo, will also be appearing in her very own fashion spread in Style Magazine.

As part of the 1 year anniversary festivities, Setia City Mall is also offering shoppers the chance to win their very own Trefoil Small office Flexible Office (SoFo) condominium unit. Shoppers who spend over RM300 in no less than 3 receipts will stand a chance to win the exciting grand prize. In addition, there will be other weekly prizes available throughout the course of the celebrations. Setia City Mall has developed a special booklet for shoppers to avail Anniversary discounts from participating retailers
The anniversary celebrations are continuing until 23 June and, in addition to the grand prize draw and ‘Face of Setia City Mall’ campaign, will also feature fashion parades, roving entertainment, dance performances and look alike contests.
