List of Nominations 11th BOH Cameronian Arts Awards 2014

Low Ngai Yuen (President Kakiseni), Caroline Russell (CEO Boh Plantations), Encik Sazali P.Ramlee (beloved son of Allahyarham Tan Sri P. Ramlee P Ramlee, Datin Marion D Cruz (wife of the late Datuk Krishen Jit ) and Puan Haslina binti Usman (Beloved daughter of Malaysian National Laureate Allahyarham Dato’ (Dr) Usman Awang)

The evening, hosted by Alexis Bistro, The Gardens Mall, was attended by arts practitioners in the industry, celebrities, press and media. A total of only 35 awards are up for grabs with the breakdown of nominees being; 28 nominees for Dance, 21 nominees for Music, 23 nominees for Musical Theatre and 33 nominees for Theatre. The event was emceed by Malik Taufiq (7th BOH Cameronian Arts Awards Recipient).

Leading up to the Awards Night on the 27th of April, the KAKISENI arts community have planned on ground activities as a public drive for awareness called #inSENItea at the BOH POP UP STORE Pavilion KL. Fans of the tributees are in for a treat as BOH has produced a limited edition Cameronian Gold blend package that reflects the theme of this year’s awards, available from the 14th of April to 26th of April.

The inSENItea campaign will be surprising the public in and around the Klang Valley, giving them a chance to win tickets to the awards on the 27th. The locations and timing will be revealed before the 5th of April on @kakiseniTweets or the website www.kakiseni.com and on social media Facebook fb.com/mykakiseni and #Cammies.

The BOH Cameronian Arts Awards is proudly endorsed by the National Department for Culture and Arts under the Ministry of Tourism and Culture.

Kakiseni and Boh Plantations present the 11th BOH Cameronian Arts Awards 2014 to recognize excellence in the performing arts for their works in the previous year 2013. BOH pays tribute to the 3 playwright legends; Allahyarham Tan Sri P. Ramlee P Ramlee (1929-1973), theatre doyen the late Datuk Krishen Jit (1939 – 2005) and Malaysian National Laureate Allahyarham Dato’ (Dr) Usman Awang (1929 – 2001). The awards presentation will be happening at Stadium Negara on the Sunday 27th of April. The category for the awards includes Dance, Music, Musical Theatre and Theatre. There will be many activities lined up at Pavilion KL BOH Pop Up Store from the 14th – 26th of April.
