8TV viewers should buckle up for another brand new action-packed drama – ‘Travelers’ when it taps into our paranoia and fill us with adrenaline-fueled entertainment.
Travelers revolves around three close friends, who spent almost two years in university together and now embarking on a road trip before they each heads out to start their own career and adult life. A simple prank rollerblading through New York’s most famous museum turns bad as two of them become suspects when seconds after they left the place exploded to ruins.
Unfortunately for Jay Burchell (Matthew Bomer) and Tyler Fog (Logan Marshall-Green), they were caught on tape racing on roller blades right before the massive building erupts in a staggering blast. Thought to be ‘acting suspiciously’, they are now the prime suspects of the bombing. The Federal Government (FBI) has classified them as domestic terrorists.
Apparently their long-time friend, Will Traveler (Aaron Stanford), might have been the one responsible in setting them up to look like the terrorists who did the bombing and is conveniently nowhere to be found. What’s worse, Jay and Tyler were left with no real evidence that Will even existed. Their alibi crushed and with no direct link to exonerate them, the web casts by the FBI slowly tightens.

Now Jay and Tyler are not only running away from the FBI. They are also avoiding all other Americans who saw them on TV as the footage of them rollerblading through the museum seconds before the bombing happened. Will both Jay and Tyler be able to find out the truth behind Will’s betrayal and how long will they be safe on the run before the authorities caught up with them?
Directed by David Nutter who has defined many popular series including the ‘The X-Files’, ‘Without a Trace’, and ‘Supernatural’, Traveler is also the brainchild of writer David DiGilio.
