#BVulvacious Campaign By Beauty & Co. Empowers Vulva-Pride Tribes To Get Loud And Proud

Luxury beauty and wellness brand Beauty & Co. (B&Co.) launched the “#BVulvacious” campaign at the grand opening of their largest outlet to date located in The Gardens Mall. The opening was officiated by celebrated Malaysian singer, businesswoman, and regular Beauty & Co. customer, Dato’ Sri Siti Nurhaliza who also treated guests to her soulful tunes as part of the celebration.

Collaborating with local actress and TV host Sazzy Falak, the campaign dedicated to celebrating vulva- pride breaks taboos surrounding female sexuality to remove the shame and discomfort women associate with the misunderstood female vulva. The new outlet is also disrupting the beauty industry by introducing the first ‘beauty co-working space’, which will allow more freelance beauticians the opportunity to up-skill and be beautypreneurs without the hefty upfront and running costs.

So really, what’s a ‘Vulva’ exactly?

For the longest time, the word used for the entire female genitalia was vagina, which is actually what babies pass through during childbirth, as well as a woman’s menstrual flow. The correct term for the external all-mighty clitoris and the openings of the urethra (where you pee from) and vagina, is VULVA. The vulva, a term most women are too embarrassed to say out loud, represents something more taboo than even sex and menstruation: female pleasure.
