AirAsia Perkenal Raya Meal Combo

[dropcap]A[/dropcap]irAsia guests will have a brand new Raya Meal combo to enjoy while travelling throughout the month of Ramadhan and Syawal, along with a brand new in-flight meal offering from 7th July onwards.

The Raya Meal combo, which consists of Nasi Hujan Panas (flavoured Rainbow Rice) with Beef Rendang and pickled vegetables, will be served with Wajik (glutinous rice with coconut milk and palm sugar) as dessert. Served hot and fresh, this new mouth-watering Raya Meal combo features a medley of appetizing flavours – spicy, savoury and sweet, which is bound to tantalize the palates of AirAsia’s guests travelling throughout the months of Ramadhan & Syawal.

This Raya Meal combo can be pre-booked online at www.airasia.com for only RM15, inclusive of a 100ml bottle of mineral water. On-the-spot purchase on-board is also available at RM19, and comes with a choice of coffee, tea or orange juice.

Other new dishes making their way on board AirAsia flights are “Uncle Chin’s Sweet and Sour Chicken Rice”, “Spicy Fish Fried Rice” and “Vegetable Manchurian Rice”; all prepared fresh daily with the best ingredients, and are available on board at RM15 each.

Guests could also choose from a selection of hot sellers, like “Pak Nasser’s Nasi Lemak” and “Vegetable Briyani”, which have been top favourites in AirAsia’s in-flight menu. All the items in AirAsia’s new menu are available for purchase on-board from 7th July onwards.

“There is nothing better than a good selection of hot meals on-board for Iftar (breaking of fast) during the month of Ramadhan, or when travelling home for Aidilfitri. Our new and revamped in-flight menu is tailored for the tastes of all Malaysians and we look forward to serving our guests with these new offerings. Most importantly, our food and beverages are certified Halal by Jakim.”

Apart from new hot meals, AirAsia is also introducing a brand new snack selection, and the items available in the ‘Quick Bites’ menu are “Yam Cakes”, “Samosa with Mint Chutney”, “Spinach Wrap with Cream Cheese and Avocado”, “Lamb Kathi Kebab Wrap”, and “Chicken Mayo with Apple Sandwich”. All of these exciting new items will be available for purchase on board any AirAsia flights with the AK flight code.

Guests are encouraged to pre-book their preferred hot meals online at www.airasia.com when purchasing their flights to avoid any disappointment. Guests can also enjoy substantial savings up to 20% when they pre-book their meals online. Items in the Quick Bites menu are available for purchase on board.
