Gerald V. Dibbayawan, Chief Executive Officer of TGV Cinemas said:

“Going to the movies is a popular past-time today, regardless age and generation. This is just a simple gesture on our part to continue nurturing the movie-enjoying culture and making this past-time much more economical.”

However, enjoying a movie in the cinema today can indeed be an expensive affair for students and senior citizens, especially with food and drinks thrown in. With that, Gerald elaborated that this promotion is one of the many surprises TGV Cinemas is introducing this year to offer the varied movie-goers an opportunity to enjoy their favourite movie, regardless their age or their favourite movie genre.

“With so many exciting upcoming blockbuster movies such as Ironman, Man of Steel, Despicable Me, Monster’s University and Fast and Furious 6 why shouldn’t everyone be able to enjoy them in a comfortable environment in all their cinematic glory with pocket- friendly prices?” urged Gerald.

Recently, the country’s leading exhibitor and multiplex cinema chain operator introduced their newly refurbished TGV Cinemas at 1 Utama Shopping Mall and simultaneously, launched their second IMAX cinema. Prior to that, TGV Cinemas also introduced two new flavours to their popcorn, Popcorn Royale and Hot & Spicy, with the latter being available for a limited time only.

For more information about this and upcoming promotions, cinema-goers can log onto their website (www.tgv.com.my), Facebook (TGV Cinemas) and Twitter (@TGVCinemas).
