Sungei Wang Plaza Collaborates With Bukit Bintang MP Service Centre For Complimentary Sanitisation

In light of the recent announcement made by the Government on the closure of premises that are listed under HIDE, Sungei Wang Plaza being mentioned on the list has mandated to close for three days to carry out complete sanitization works.

Sungei Wang Plaza Management Corporation joins hands with Bukit Bintang MP Service Centre by initiating complimentary sanitisation works for all proprietors and tenants in Sungei Wang Plaza on 11 May 2021 from 11.30 am to 1.00 pm to ease their suffering caused by the sudden instruction. 

“It gives me the joy to join hands with Sungei Wang Plaza in supporting their initiative as mall management to not only ease their tenant’s burdens but also protecting the wellbeing of our community that we live in. I would like to Urge the public to follow SOP’s and get vaccine ASAP, I also Urge DBKL to reduce or waive license fee and assessment tax to lighten the burden of business operators” said Yang Berhormat Tuan Fong Kui Lun, Member of Parliament for Bukit Bintang during the complimentary sanitisation program at Sungei Wang Plaza today.

Going with the line “Your safety is our priority”. This initiative by Sungei Wang Plaza aims to support and protect shoppers as well as the workers as well as to ease the burdens of their tenants and proprietors who have been severely affected by the announcement of closure and MCO. “I believe that lending a hand to our tenants will help ease apart of their struggles and we are all in this together. With that I would like to thank Yang Berhormat Tuan Fong Kui Lun for lending his great support towards our Mall during this tough time”, said Mr Ng Yih Chen, Chairman of Sungei Wang Plaza Management Corporation. 

Additionally, Sungei Wang Plaza Management Corporation (SWPMC) has recently committed a total of RM1.1 million to assist its proprietors and tenants’ businesses recovery. This is the second phase of the Immediate Stimulus Plan in conjunction with the reimplementation of Movement Control Order 3.0 (MCO 3.0) by the Government in January 2021.
