SINGAPORE/KUALA LUMPUR/BANGKOK/MANILA, 23 AUGUST 2013 – Comedy Central Asia, the first and only all-comedy network in Asia has announced the latest addition of the critically acclaimed late night comedy showcase, “SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE” (SNL) to their portfolio of Emmy® award winning and nominated comedy shows on the network. Licensed from Broadway Video Enterprises, Saturday Night Live will make its exclusive Asian debut with the new season 39 premiere on Comedy Central Asia starting 5th October, every Saturday at 9pm (TH), 10pm (SIN/ PHIL), 11pm (MAL).

Saturday Night Life is the longest running late night comedy sketch show in history and has for over three decades, delivered politics and current affairs with a humorous and often satirical twist. In its illustrious history, SNL has picked up 36 Emmy® Awards and now holds the title for the most nominated TV show in Emmy® history with 156 times, including the prestigious George Foster Peabody Awards.
Saturday Night Live has been the platform for icons of Film, Television, Music and Sports to show their humorous side and elevate their profiles even further.
