MTV WORLD STAGE RETURNS TO MALAYSIA
WITH 30 SECONDS TO MARS AND POP SHUVIT

MTV Southeast Asia today announced that MTV World Stage will be held in Malaysia for the third time running on 24th July 2011 at a new venue, i-City, Shah Alam, Malaysia. The outdoor concert will feature live performances from popular international, regional and local recording artists.
The first two acts announced to perform are the award-winning rock band 30 Seconds To Mars and popular local band Pop Shuvit.

MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia 2011 will be staged in front of a live audience of about 15,000 fans. The two-hour on-air version of MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia 2011 will premiere on MTV SEA channel on 15 August at 10pm (Indonesia), 11pm (Singapore and Hong Kong) and 12am (Malaysia). An hour-long version of MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia 2011 will also be broadcast globally in 154 countries reaching over 550 million households later in the year.
