Grab, Dahmakan Masih Beroperasi Seperti Biasa, FoodPanda Tawar Penghantaran Tanpa Sentuh

Seiringan dengan pengumuman perintah kawalan pergerakan mulai 18 Mac 2020 sehingga 31 Mac 2020, banyak sektor yang ditutup untuk mengurangkan penularan wabak Covid-19. Hanya perkhidmatan penting negara sahaja yang dibenarkan untuk terus berjalan.

Antara servis penghantaran popular, Grab, hari ini mengumumkan bahawa operasi mereka akan berjalan seperti biasa pada tarikh yang dinyatakan. Ini termasuklah GrabFoodGrabMartkenderaan, dan juga GrabExpress.

Sementara itu, perkhidmatan dahmakan juga membuat kenyataan yang sama akan juga kekal beroperasi ketika perintah kawalan pergerakan.

FoodPanda juga pun masih beroperasi namun ia meningkatkan kebersihan dengan membuat penawaran penghantaran tanpa sentuh.

Apa yang dimaksudkan adalah penghantar tidak perlu berada dekat secara terus dengan pelanggan. Penghantar makanan hanya perlu berada pada jarak 1M dari pelanggan ketika menghantar.

Foodpanda reinforces precautionary measures in light of Covid-19

As part of their continued commitment to support the wellbeing of employees, foodpanda ensures measures are in place as COVID-19 develops.

​foodpanda has proactively implemented health and safety measures for employees, service partners and customers as the spread of COVID-19 continues to develop. Working together with the relevant health officials and following the WHO guidelines, foodpanda has ensured;

  1. Health and safety guidelines have been followed
  2. Service partners have been provided masks and sanitizer
  3. Introducing contactless delivery.

As part of the continued commitment and adaptation to the latest restriction of movement policy, foodpanda have ensured all employees are informed to comfortably work from home on 17.03.2020; to further aid in the halting of the spread of the virus. As COVID-19 continues to spread with an increasing number of people being affected by the virus, foodpanda has unfortunately received confirmation that one of their employees from the corporate office has been tested positive for Covid-19. The employee has received immediate medical treatment and full support from foodpanda as well as wishes for a swift recovery.

With the confirmation, foodpanda wants to extend continued support to all those affected by making it compulsory for all employees in the corporate office to go for screening checks for COVID-19 and will reimburse all employees to ensure that everyone can be assured during this time with minimised stress. In line with commitment to ensuring all employees can receive adequate health care checks, foodpanda will also be implementing a deep clean within the corporate office and enforcing work from home until further notice.

We want to ensure that all of our employees are safe and receive the care they need during this time, so we will cover all costs for any foodpanda employee to get tested for the virus. In this time of uncertainty, foodpanda will ensure that all within the panda family are cared for, as well as have the necessary means to focus on their health. The rider recruitment office, rider hubs, shared service center as well as all business processing centers have not been impacted as these business functions are in a separate location from the corporate office.
