Pagi ini, Budiey sempat melayan bingkisan pertama dari sebuah filem yang diarahkan oleh Anajin yang juga turut menggalas sebagai penulis dalam filem JEJAK MEGAT di mana pihak penerbit telah memperlihatkan sebuah teaser di saluran Youtube.
Filem ini yang bercorak drama jenayah ini memperkenalkan Chaoi Power dan Azlym Aziz. Antara pelakon lagak ngeri terbaik Malaysia waktu ini dan beberapa nama besar yang akan diumumkan tidak lama lagi. Filem ini akan menemui penonton di pawagam pada tahun 2018.

‘Jejak Megat‘ is an indiependent film about a story that continues a couple of years later where MEGAT, an underworld undercover who investigates crimes in shadow married SARAH and they had one child. He then was given a task to get inside into the organized crime that was being lead by BORON. Inside the gang, MEGAT met TOMBOT, his long-lost childhood friend whois the right hand man for Boron and Tombot is a lone ranger with no rules.
‘Jejak Megat’ is a neo-noir meets action meets crime meets drama movie that was inspired by true events. It combines heart-stopping and b-movie thrills that portray the concept of deception and being betrayed as the main conflict, and love as the biggest power of all but fate complies to all of it.
The debut feature from Anajin (Film Pop Montreal award winning writer ‘Best Original Story’ for a short film entitled Sarah Marah), Jejak Megat is a high concept storytelling with a very low production budget.
The feature is a self-fund project where the producers have come up with new marketing strategies whereby they made use of their Domestic Marketing Obligation to raise their downstream profit to the fullest and make the movie. Along with his producer, Lizamurni Lokman, Anajin accepted the challenge and crafted a genre film which has exceeded expectations and takes 10 years in writing the script. With the help of Social Media Marketing Guru, Azmi Ali, they seek the new way in distributing the film locally and internationally.
It will be beautifully shot by 2-time award winning Director of Photography Mohd Nor Kassim. It also assembled a stellar cast and stunt master featuring new comer Chaoi Power and Azlym Aziz with the support of award winning actress Sara Ali and action choreographer Azlan Komeng. The movie also presenting a special appearance of a former world silat champion, Ruzaidi Abdul Rahman.
This movie will be the benchmark of a new beginning for indiependent filmmakers marketing strategy in the country.
