MTV Indonesia announced its Top 6 and the Winner of MTV VJ Hunt Indonesia 2014 who will be the ambassador for MTV and Indonesian youths during the Grand Finale held last Friday, 30 January at XXI Ballroom Djakarta Theatre. The Top 6 are Dede Januardy Lie, Jesslin Guvani, Tabitha Perachya, Eitaro Nonaka, Ardhito Pramono, and the Winner is Feli Sumayku.
“Congratulations to Feli! She impressed us with her outgoing personality, passion and confidence in her beliefs and opinions. MTV is the cultural home of the millennial generation and Feli embodies our brand belief of celebrating young, amazing lives. We are thrilled to have her on board!” said Paras Sharma, Vice President of MTV and Comedy Central Brands and Digital Media, Viacom International Media Networks Asia.
“It’s crazy, I was so nervous, because the jury had big names such as MTV VJs Alan and Hanli of MTV Asia, Patrice Desilles, and Alex Abbad,“ said Sumayku who signed up for the VJ Hunt after learning of the audition from her friend. “Here I am now the new MTV VJ. In the future, I want to show you the best for the Indonesian youth.”
Besides snagging a one year contract with MTV Indonesia, the winner of MTV VJ Hunt will also receive exclusive training from MTV Asia. The new VJ will immediately host local programmes and present “1000% Indonesian Youth” entertainment, from music, lifestyle, to contemporary trends.
