Siti Nurhaliza is Unveiled as the Face of Swarovski Hari Raya 2022 Campaign 

The inimitable Dato’ Sri Siti Nurhaliza—one of the region’s best-known and most loved singers—has been announced as the face of Swarovski’s Hari Raya 2022 campaign.

The crystal wonderlab hosted a delightful afternoon at the Astor Ballroom of The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur, where a careful selection of VIP customers and members of the media sat down to an elegant high tea for a preview of the beautiful new campaign. For the safety of all attendees, negative results for on-the-spot RTK tests were required for entry to the event. 

The event was hosted by former Miss World Malaysia, Yvonne Lee, who introduced Swarovski’s Public Relations and Marketing Manager of Southeast Asia and India, Ms. Tracy Ng, on stage to give a few words to mark the momentous occasion. “We are so pleased to have you here with us for an early Hari Raya get-together, as we celebrate this wonderful partnership between Swarovski and the incredible Dato’ Sri Siti Nurhaliza,” said Ms. Ng.

Mr. Lars Schmidt, Senior Vice President Asia South and Managing Director India and Southeast Asia also made a poignant message through video, drawing parallels between the iconic singer and the stunning Hari Raya selection. “Dato’ Sri Siti Nurhaliza is a devoted mother and wife, a hugely successful businesswoman, a philanthropist, style icon and role model. Her inner confidence, grace and elegance personify the integral values of this special collection, and we are proud to have her as the face of our Hari Raya campaign.” 

Once the speeches were made, guests were given a first glimpse of the exciting partnership between Swarovski and Malaysian national treasure, Dato’ Sri Siti Nurhaliza. Bedecked in Swarovski jewels, the singer is radiant to behold in the campaign video, as she conveys the powerful and meaningful story of the essence of Hari Raya: the devotion, faith and legacy of its traditions and the importance of purpose and passion in life. 

As they feasted on a spread of high tea classics with a modern twist, guests were treated to a spectacular performance by the guest of honour, Dato’ Sri Siti Nurhaliza, who sang her own chart-topping classic, ‘Aku Cinta Padamu’ as well as the Frankie Vallie hit, ‘Can’t Take My Eyes Off You’. Her performance was a showcase of true talent, raising goose-bumps and reinforcing just why she has been bestowed the honorific of “The Voice of Asia”.

The singer then sat down for a Q&A session moderated by the emcee, Ms. Yvonne Lee, to discuss a range of topics from the meaning of Hari Raya to her take on personal style. Dato’ Sri Siti Nurhaliza also shared her thoughts on the felicitous partnership, saying, “I have been a long-time fan of the brand for years, and I have my own personal collection of Swarovski favourites. 

Swarovski is known to come up with bold designs, like the Lucent cocktail ring which I absolutely love. Wearing these pieces gives women that boost of confidence and is such a perfect accompaniment to any outfit” 

After a photo opportunity with the star of the show, attendees were wowed again with a mini concert by Nakasutra Music—a professional gamelan performance group whose set comprised a mix of classic and contemporary Malaysian music. As the event wrapped up, every guest walked away with a special gift from Swarovski and hearts full of the memory of a truly wonderful afternoon.
