SEPANG, 1 MARCH 2011 – AirAsia X, Asia’s leading long haul, low fare airline today hits off with its “Massive Sales” campaign to all its long-haul destinations (excluding Tehran and Tokyo), following the recent AirAsia’s Big sale campaign which took off from 22 – 27 February, 2011.

Guest may be able to grab the low fares offer to London (Stansted), Taiwan (Taipei), China (Tianjin, Hangzhou, and Chengdu), Australia (Gold Coast, Melbourne, Perth) and India (Mumbai, Delhi), Korea (Seoul), New Zealand (Christchurch) and France (Paris). This fantastic promotion will be available for 6 days only for online bookings from 1st March (12:00 noon KL time) to 6th March (00:00 midnight KL time), 2011 for travel from 13 September, 2011 to 29 February, 2012.

The Massive Sale low fares offer are limited and available on first-come, first-served basis and made exclusively online via www.airasia.com.

Highly in demand “Kangaroo Routes” in Australia such as Gold Coast, Perth and Melbourne are available from RM199* while those planning for a European getaway can opt to fly to London and Paris from as low as RM529*.

Fares to China are offered from as low as RM149* to Chengdu and from RM199* to Tianjin and scenic Hangzhou. This RM199* low fare offer also includes picturesque and street food haven, Taiwan and exotic destinations to India (Delhi and Mumbai.

Those opting to travel to Kimchi land, Korea (Seoul) or to the gateway of South Island, Christchurch, fares as low as RM249* are available for grabs.

On these long-haul routes, guests will have the chance to experience the new comfortable ‘flatbed Premium seats’ on AirAsia X’s brand new A330 and A340 aircrafts. The flatbed seats are standard business class specifications of 20” width, 60” pitch and stretches out to 77” in full recline position. The seats feature universal power sockets, adjustable headrests and built-in personal utilities such as tray table, drink holder, reading light and privacy screen.
