Samsung Unveils New Generation of 14” Notebook with Slim Bezel Screen Technology
Samsung Series 3 300V Notebook features vivid colours and a stylish slim bezel screen
Samsung Malaysia Electronics Sdn Bhd, a global leader in digital media and digital convergence technologies, today launched the new Series 3 300V notebook. With its modern, premium-style design, featuring a choice of vivid colors, and extensive battery life of up to 9.0 hours*1it’s now easy to look good on the go – for longer.
It’s also features the latest 2nd generation Intel® Core™ i7*2 processor, Windows® 7 Home Premium*2 and a new-generation NVIDIA GeForce*2graphics card, so you can stay connected, socialise and enjoy brilliant entertainment on the go virtually all day long. And with Samsung’s unique Fast Start technology, the Series 3 300V wakes up within a few seconds, so when you’re hanging out you won’t be left hanging around.

The Series 3 300V’s ultra portable design features an extremely narrow display bezel that’s slimmer than a finger (and 55-60% slimmer than previous models*3). It’s smaller and lighter, without compromising on screen size, so it’s easy to take with you when you’re out and about. Especially as you’ll always look good on the move with its premium styling. The fashionable, modern design is accentuated with a high quality finish in a choice of vivid colors (Vital Orange, Raspberry Pink, Alaska Blue, Mock Black, and Smoky Silver) that simply demands attention.
But the 300V also looks just as good on the inside. A high quality, full-size, island-type keyboard makes typing easier, so get more done and waste less time correcting errors. Its ergonomic, premium-style design features isolated keys with optimized spacing for maximum comfort. Each key has also been extensively tested for durability and reliability 10 million times (equivalent to 6 years of writing).

Set yourself free with the 300V’s extended battery life of up to 7.0 hours*2 (4400mAh battery) / 9.0 hours*2 (5200mAh battery) on a single charge. So you can carry on working, communicating and socialising longer in a cafe, classroom or wherever you choose to be – and still have the power to squeeze even more into your day.
Samsung’s Power Plus intelligent battery charging technology also enables the battery to keep 80% of its original capacity for up to 1,000 recharges – that’s up to 3x longer than a typical battery, which is normally just over 300 cycles.
