The debut of the Future Music Festival brand in Malaysia also represents a milestone in the evolution of the country’s already burgeoning entertainment industry.

As Future Entertainment’s tour director Brett Robinson comments:

We are excited to be announcing what we hope will be embraced as one of Asia’s biggest music festivals in coming years.”

Since its debut in 2006, the Future Music Festival has grown year after year and won the hearts of music lovers all around Australia, becoming one of the ‘essentials’ of the summer festival circuit. Now in its sixth year, it is time to expend its reach and give music fans in the Asia pacific region the chance to experience the quality of entertainment and massive line-ups that have made Future Music Festival famous in Australia. The promoters are proud to have brought some of the biggest names in music to the Southern Hemisphere, past headliners of the festival include: The Chemical Brothers, The Prodigy, David Guetta, Swedish House Mafia, New Order, Paul van Dyk, Steve Angello, Dizzee Rascal, Jessie J, Franz Ferdinand, N*E*R*D, MGMT, Ke$ha, Mark Ronson & The Business Intl, Fatboy Slim, and more!
