Artistreet Dance is out to find Malaysia’s Best Dancers!

MyCreative Ventures is Calling Out to Dancers Nationwide to Win Dance Competition

MyCreative Ventures is looking for Malaysia’s best dancers to be showcased in Artistreet Dance, a follow up to their previous performing arts initiative last year. Artistreet is a performing arts competition and a quest to discover Malaysia’s best acts. This first of its kind performing arts competition which began in 2018 encourages all aspiring Malaysian performers to express themselves creatively and promote performing arts. The art of dance is the main focus this year with no limitations to the imagination.

The best acts stand a chance to win cash prizes totalling up to RM18,000 as they perform live at the grand finals at RIUH – one of the country’s most popular local art events.

The competition this year aims to showcase talents of the local dance scene, their inspiring choreography and cultivate public awareness on the various dance forms we have to offer. It also hopes to encourage the youth to express themselves creatively and pursue arts as a form of self-expression.

The competition welcomes dancers from all styles, backgrounds and disciplines – whether its traditional, contemporary, modern, street, fusion, avant garde and others – all are welcomed to participate so imaginations are encouraged to run free.

Contestants can be individuals or groups and performance duration must be between 5 to 10 minutes.

Artistreet Dance is open to all Malaysians with no age limit but minors must have their parent or guardian’s consent.

The Artistreet Dance grand finals will be held at the special year end edition of RIUH, a curated creative platform on in December 2019.
