Samsung Thanks Fans for 100 Testimonial Videos Uploaded on the GALAXY S II Micro Site
Kuala Lumpur, 18 November 2011 – Following an extraordinary sale of the GALAXY S II and an overwhelming response from its customers, several videos of people showing their use of the GALAXY S II were spotted online. These videos led Samsung Malaysia Electronics Sdn. Bhd., a leading mobile phone provider subsequently create a platform to compile all of these valuable consumer voices by launching a micro site for the GALAXY S II community to share their user testimonials through video.
Today, user testimonials on the GALAXY S II interactive community site have reached over 100 uploads by fans and public, who are all GALAXY S II users.
Launched in mid-September, the micro site features personalised and often self-recorded depictions of users’ experience with their GALAXY S II. Since its launch, the micro site has received high traffic as well as an impressive level of interaction from the Malaysian GALAXY S II community. Lauded for its user-friendliness and dynamic offerings, the micro site offers a platform for GALAXY S II fanatics to come together, as well as a place for other Smartphone users to learn more about the device that has taken the world by storm.
Videos uploaded on the site range from depictions of users demonstrating how to get the most out of their favorite Apps, to quirky comedic skits, the site has given users a platform to GALAXY S II experience creatively. One video submission by Liew Siew Meng even features an optical illusion to demonstrate the clarity of the Smartphone’s screen and camera capabilities.
