Firefly Includes Alipay in Its Many Payment Options to Book Flight Tickets

As being innovative and act ahead are parts of its key pillars, Firefly Airlines has introduced a new and reliable payment option for its customers, Alipay. The addition of Alipay as another fast and convenient way to pay for flights and other services expands the range of options available to Firefly customers.

Adding on to the already available various convenient payment options, Firefly is simply going further to make every step as easy as 1,2,3 for its customers. Alipay is a secured online payment service where customers can store funds to be used online.

It’s a payment option that works like many other eWallet services, where you add payment methods such as cards or bank accounts to your Alipay account, and can then process orders using them. Alipay is a very popular payment option in Asia and part of the Alibaba group.

By having this payment option on board, Firefly customers can now become Alipay members to make payments for flight bookings. Soon and to be announced, any of Firefly’s add on products and services via Firefly website and mobile web can be purchased via Alipay. Any additional products can be added via Manage Booking using this payment option.

“It is essential that the overall passenger experience is smooth, convenient and trustworthy from the point of booking, onsite and checkout by being able to pay for flight tickets and services in a familiar payment option”, said Firefly Chief Executive Officer, Ignatius Ong.

Joining a diverse group of partners, Firefly will be able to tap on a wider online customer base, while at the same time providing a true Beyond Convenience experience by rewarding customers with peace of mind when they purchase via another secured payment option, Alipay.
