The 69th Golden Globe Awards

The 69th Golden Globe Awards has just ended a few hours ago. The show on its 69th outing this year was hosted by British comedian (the annoying and full-of-gas….) Ricky Gervais. Interestingly, the race for this year’s top films notch seems a little jagged due to the absence of pure gold winners. Nevertheless, if last years’ The Social Network, The King Speech and to some extend, Inception were all fore-runners; this year we have The Descendants, The Help and Moneyball. Okay, things cut short. We have the list of winners right after the jump.

The Golden Globe Awards is generally perceived as an indicator for to seal who will win the bigger prize of Oscar. However, over the years, it has lost its true indicator steam because only once in the last six occasions that the big winner of Oscar Best Picture correlates with the Golden Globe.
