Yasmin Ahmad needs no introduction. The acclaimed director is back with a new heart-wrenching film entitled TALENTIME boasting a host of new talents besides Yasmin’s usual suspects. The cast includes newcomers Amazing Race Asia runner up Pamela Chong and Mahesh Jugal Kishore playing the main characters, and supported by Jacqueline Victor, Adibah Nor, Harith Iskander just to name a few. TALENTIME weaves an eandearing story of the lives and hurdles of multi-racial high school students as their school’s much anticipated Talentime day approaches.
In conjunction with the launch and screening of TALENTIME, GUA with the support of Silkygirl, is proud to announce an exclusive contest which is parallel to the film. For those who have been shying away from talent searches on TV because of their fear of being teased and ridiculed by critical judges and no less than 1 million TV viewers, here is an opportunity to show off your talents plus win cool cash prizes minus any embarassment you might encounter on reality TV talent searches!
Participants may choose to either sing their hearts out OR show off some slick dance moves OR even play any musical instrument of their interest.
Just record a short video of your talent and simply upload the video on www.gua.com.my/talentime. All videos must be no longer than 60 seconds. Interested candidates need not worry about producing profesional quality videos as only their talents, not the recording quality, will be judged. Participants are allowed to submit multiple entries and may also compete in all three categories.
