TVB and Astro have launched a new pack, Jade Pack, comprising the latest TVB dramas, freshest infotainment and variety shows, action packed Asian martial arts and all time classics for Astro customers in Malaysia starting 1st May 2016. Astro customers on B.yond set-top-boxes will be able to enjoy a free preview of the channels in Jade Pack from 1st to 15th May 2016.
The new Jade Pack consists of the following TVB channels, of which three are new in Malaysian market – TVB Jade (Ch. 326), Asian Action Channel (Ch.327), Classic Movies (Ch. 328) – in addition to TVB E-News (Ch. 313), TVB Xing He (Ch. 314), TVBS Asia (Ch. 317) and TVB Classic (Ch. 305), some of which premiere on the same day as Hong Kong.

As the flagship channel of Jade Pack, TVB Jade (Ch.326) airs the latest TVB primetime dramas and sitcoms same time as Hong Kong, offering the best variety and current affairs programmes as well as the best in entertainment from Hong Kong. Available in SD and HD, the channel airs News at 6:30 daily and News Roundup on weekdays, 11pm, bringing Malaysian audiences the latest news updates from Hong Kong and beyond. A great selection of movies and musical shows will be available on weekends, catering to the diverse group of viewers.
Preview of Jade Pack channels from 1st to 15th May

Asian Action Channel (Ch.327) is a new channel for authentic Asian martial arts flicks from a huge library of well-known Kung Fu and Wuxia classic drama series. The blast from the past includes legendary action flicks about masters of Shaolin, Wudang, Wing Chun and Tai Chi, featuring luminaries like Chen Zhen, Bruce Lee and Huang Fei-Hong. Not to be left out are adaptations of Wuxia novel series by prominent authors such as Jin Yong and Gu Long. These series tell epic tales of good versus evil and unyielding patriotism.
Classic Movies (Ch.328) is home to all-time classics from Hong Kong. It showcases a wide array of genres, ranging from Cantonese operas, art and ethics, fantasy to martial arts, suspense, mystery and the like. Each of these genres brings to the screen a slew of stars of yesteryear. Powered by a library filled with Hong Kong’s movie legacy from the 50’s to the 70’s – mostly filmed in black and white, Classic Movies provides an unmatched entertainment experience by leading audiences down memory lane of the old Hong Kong.
