Roxy’s Global “Let The Sea Set You Free” Contest
Offers the Chance for Malaysia Girls to Live the Roxy Girl Dream

As part of the global Roxy “Let The Sea Set You Free” contest, Roxy Malaysia is excited to invite Malaysian girls between the ages of 18 and 28 who wish to experience a once-in-a lifetime opportunity to live the life of a Roxy girl to submit their applications via facebook.com/ROXY Malaysiaor in person at the selected Quiksilver and Roxy stores listed below.

It’s as easy as going to facebook.com/ROXY Malaysiatab and submit 2 or 3 photos and a short 150-word (max) essay or a short video describing what makes them a Roxy girl.

Ultimately, Roxy is looking for three of the most intriguing, fun, engaging, daring and media savvy girls in the world to experience this life-changing adventure that includes a trip to Biarritz, France, up to $5,000 USD, be outfitted head-to-toe in Roxy products, host Roxy video segments, be a face and voice for Roxy and jet set on another surprise trip.

The contest ends on June 15th, 2012, when Roxy will announce the three girls chosen to live the life of a Roxy girl. The fans (you!) and the Roxy judging panel will ultimately select the three winners.

According to Catherine Chin, Marketing Director for Roxy Malaysia, “It’s not a requirement that the potential candidate already know how to surf. What is most important in being the ideal candidate is your spirit and attitude. I’m really looking forward to see some great submissions here in Malaysia, via our website and at the local auditions at the selected Quiksilver & Roxy stores”.

Roxy Malaysia is pleased to announce the partnership with U Mobile and Snips as prize sponsors for the Malaysia winner.

We are very excited to sponsor this contest as it is all about offering a chance to make dream come true. This is a wonderful opportunity for Malaysian’s young girls to show talents and charms. Roxy Malaysia will select a Malaysian girl to represent our country. 15 girls from all the submissions from Malaysia will be selected for a series of Roxy workshops comprises of surfing and grooming to give them a foretaste of a Roxy girl experience before they compete with the rest of the finalists from the other countries to compete to be the final three Roxy global winners.

The Malaysia winner will win a one week holiday to Bali, Roxy wardrobe worth RM2,000, a Samsung Galaxy Nexus worth RM2,099 from U Mobile and a make-up course worth RM1,800 from Snips College of Creative Arts. There will also be 5 consolation prize winners who will win themselves RM500 worth of Roxy products and a HTC Desires S worth RM1,599 from U Mobile.
