Philippines AirAsia Launches Direct Flights to Davao and Kalibo with 20,000 free seats!

CLARK, PAMPANGA, 28 February 2012: Philippines AirAsia Inc. celebrates its first promotion by offering 20,000 free seats for its direct flights to Davao and Kalibo from its hub in Clark, Pampanga. The airline will begin servicing the route with two daily flights departing from Clark International Airport to Francisco Bangoy International Airport in Davao and Kalibo International Airport.

Guests are able to fly with all-in-fares from as low as P275 pesos (USD 7) one way. The P275 seat sale is actually a zero-fare promo where the seat is totally free and payment of P275 is to cover the fuel surcharge, processing fee and government mandated fees such as aviation security fee and VAT.

“The hype has been building up for Philippines’ AirAsia and today’s announcement is a much anticipated event. We are thrilled to offer 20,000 free seats to commemorate our launch. We look forward to personally welcoming our guests on our brand new, state-of-the-art Airbus A320 when we commence operations on the 28th of March,” said Marianne Hontiveros, Chief Executive Officer of AirAsia Inc.

The promo will be from 28 February – 4 March 2012, and guests will be able to travel from 28 March 2012 to 31 January 2013 with these all-in fares which are available online at www.airasia.com and also available via mobile at mobile.airasia.com as well as via AirAsia apps for Blackberry, iPhone and Android phones.
