OREO SHARES ONE MILLION COOKIES WITH MALAYSIANS
Turning 100 is a significant milestone for world’s favourite cookie, Oreo. In conjunction with the 100th year anniversary, Oreo embarked on a nationwide journey since March 2012 to urban and rural areas across Malaysia to continue spreading joy and creating special family moments. A distinctive blue truck, the Oreomobile, was spotted in different locations in the country reaching out to Malaysians from all walks of life giving away one million cookies.
In its quest to reach out to all Oreo fans and fulfilling its one million cookie giveaway promise, the Oreomobile went on an adventure with fishermen in Kuala Terengganu on their fishing boat, got onboard the iconic figure of the Penang ferry, explored the historical state of Malacca and savoured the vibrant scene of Kuala Lumpur’s Little India. Malaysians, young and old alike, certainly had their share of fun and had a great time doing the Oreo ‘Twist Lick and Dunk’ ritual.
