MBO Cinemas’ first outlet was launched at Galaxy Ampang on 17 May 2005, and with the public’s continuous support, we are now celebrating the outlet’s 7th anniversary.

To mark this special occasion and to thank our loyal customers for their support, MBO Cinemas Galaxy Ampang has recently undergone extensive refurbishments and upgrades to further enhance our customer’s movie-going experience.

When you first reach the MBO Cinemas Galaxy Ampang, you be greeted with a spacious lobby that features additional ticketing and concessions counters so you can spend less time waiting and more time enjoying your movie. Whether you enjoy romance, action or drama, you will be spoilt for choice with a wide range of international blockbusters as well as the best of Asian and local movies.

Once you have purchased your tickets, head over to the concessions counter where you will be served with fresh and tasty popcorn, snack foods and a wide range of beverages to quench your thirst.

Without giving too much away, you can be sure that your multiple visits to this cineplex will be anything but monotonous! The cinema halls feature a plush interior, ranging from batik motifs in hall 10 to the posh theater-styled curtains in hall 8.

Most importantly we have brand new ergonomically-designed seats to give you a whole new level of comfort while you feast your eyes on state-of-the art picture and sound in 3D, 35mm or 2D. All halls are outfitted with stadium-seating which allows patrons to enjoy unobstructed views of the screens from plush, high backed rocking seats. Excellent sound is assured with the Dolby Digital Surround EX system.

Coinciding with the 7th Anniversary of MBO Cinemas Galaxy Ampang, we are having a special promotion whereby customers can now sign up for the MBO Membership card for only RM60 (RM10 registration fee, RM50 credit) instead of the usual RM110 fee.
