Korean heartthrob Jay Park aims to conquer Malaysian fans with New Breed showcase
Fans meet their idol backstage and interact with him onstage in exciting games
Customers of DiGi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd (“DiGi”), who are Jaywalkerz (die-hard fans of Jay Park), are going to have a close encounter with the multi-talented Korean singer at the DiGi Live K-pop presents Jay Park Showcase in the Life Centre, Kuala Lumpur.
The hip hop R&B performer is in Malaysia to promote his first full-length album, New Breed. DiGi is collaborating with Universal Music Malaysia to organise the Kuala Lumpur showcase as a means to reward loyal customers with Unique Music Experiences.
Jay Park is scheduled to meet fans backstage, including 50 DiGi customers who were lucky enough to win exclusive passes to meet him in person. Over 1,000 fans at the Kuala Lumpur showcase are expected to be there, where he is set to perform his hit songs like Star, Know Your Name and Girlfriend. Lucky fans will also have the exclusive opportunity to share the stage with him for some special activities during the showcase.
Another Unique Experience lined up for DiGi customers is to watch him pitch his basketball skills in a special match against his fans at SM Sri KDU in Kota Damansara on Monday, 14 May. For this activity, 400 lucky fans received limited audience passes via a contest on the DiGi Youths Facebook page.
