iProperty.com Malaysia Lancar Kempen #MALAYSIAMYHOME

In conjunction with the nation’s 58th Independence Day and 52nd Malaysia Day, iProperty.com Malaysia, the country’s No.1 property website, alongside Malaysians for Malaysia and iM4U have come together to launch the #Malaysiamyhome campaign.

According to iProperty Group’s Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Georg Chmiel, the #Malaysiamyhome campaign, a social media driven initiative, is set to encourage fellow Malaysians and expats alike who have through the years called Malaysia their home and to share why they are proud to do so.

“Despite the challenges faced by the country currently, there is still so much to be thankful for. Malaysia is such a beautiful country. The variety of food that is easily available 24/7, the friendly and polite people, beautiful islands and rainforests, amazing infrastructures and not to mention war free, makes this country remarkably attractive to call home. I have been here for more than a year and I am proud to call Malaysia home,” said Chmiel.

The #Malaysiamyhome campaign, also supported by ONFM and iflix, will run on www.malaysiamyhome.com.my till 21st September 2015.

According to Chmiel, the campaign mechanics are fairly simple and only requires participants to fill in a short caption, not more than 15 characters and explain why they are proud to call Malaysia their home, upload a picture and share it with three friends.

“For every post shared whilst tagging three friends and incorporating the #Malaysiamyhome hashtag, iProperty.com Malaysia will donate RM5 to a charity organisation. As a company that provides the perfect platform for consumers to search for the dream home, the #Malaysiamyhome campaign provides us with the perfect opportunity to showcase to the world that Malaysia is truly a wonderful place to live in,” shared Chmiel.

He added that 50 of the most creative entries will be rewarded with 12 months subscription to iflix, Southeast Asia’s leading Internet TV service, offering subscribers’ unlimited access to tens of thousands of hours of entertainment.

“We are proud to be partner with iProperty.com Malaysia in this initiative as it truly fosters the spirit of unity. The current and political climate has seen the Malaysian spirit dwindle but it is through such initiatives we are able to reignite, rekindle and perhaps even foster a stronger love for the country and its people. Sometimes, we get caught up with all the negativity that we forget that Malaysia is really not just a multicultural country, but one that is built on unity and solidified in harmony,” Azrul Mohd Khalib from Malaysians for Malaysia.

“We want the future generations of Malaysia, our youths today, to also be proud to call Malaysia their home, a country that has tremendous potential to further develop into a first world nation. Via this initiative, we can empower our future leaders to embrace harmony and carry on the Muhibbah spirit,” said Rudy Malik, Chief Operating Officer of iM4U.

Chmiel concluded saying,

“This is just the beginning and we hope that all Malaysians will participate and continue to embrace our diversity and celebrate the unity that we share. Malaysia is truly a home we should be proud of and showcase to the world. We look forward to your participation in the #Malaysiamyhome campaign.”
