Hailing all the way from Texas, US, Explosions in the Sky represents one of the most pinnacles in post-rock music of our time.
The band has received heaps of praises from both critics and music lovers all over the world, reaching beyond the realm of contemporary experimental music for their musical prowess, dramatic, cinematic and incendiary guitar works, and their narrative instrumentals.
Both on records and on stage, Explosions in the Sky displays an enthusiastic capability to capture immense and powerful emotions, transforming the most heart-felt passions into the most grand, wondrous and intricate of sound-scapes, carving eloquently, the beauty of human psyche in its finest and deepest connections.
In the words of their record label, Temporary Residence Limited, the band’s music emotes “equal parts romance and tragedy, beautiful melodies with a tendency to ignite into head-spinning walls of noise. The band released their latest album, “All of a sudden, I Miss Everyone” last year and has been touring since, with Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia as their only South East Asia destination.

Explosions in the Sky Live in KL happens at Ruums, KL, on February 19, 9:00pm.
