Self Check-In & Arrive During This Hari Raya Aidiladha Holiday

Self check-in and arrive at the airport earlier during this Hari Raya Aidiladha holiday. Pre-book sufficient baggage allowance, only 1 cabin baggage allowed onboard. Arrive at airport 3 hours earlier prior to scheduled time of departure. Use web, mobile or kiosk services to check-in your flight for a smoother journey

AirAsia and AirAsia X would like to encourage all guests travelling throughout the upcoming long weekend in conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidiladha public holiday to arrive at the airport earlier to avoid congestion due to the expected surge of travellers.

Guests are urged to arrive at the airport at least 3 hours prior to the scheduled time of departure for AirAsia flights and at least 4 hours earlier for AirAsia X flights.

Guests are also strongly encouraged to conduct self-check-in via web, mobile or kiosk services for a smoother journey at the airport. Web, mobile and kiosk check-in services are available 14 days and up to 1 hour prior to departure for all AirAsia flights and up to 4 hours prior to departure for all AirAsia X flights.

The airline group also wishes to remind all guests that each passenger is only allowed ONE piece of carry-on cabin baggage weighing no more than 7kg and must be within the 36cm (h) x 23cm (w) x 56cm (l) dimensions. Guests are encouraged to pre-book sufficient baggage allowance online and save up to 88%, use the ‘Manage My Booking’ function to pre-book or add more baggage allocation at airasia.com up to 4 hours before the scheduled time of departure.

The baggage drop counters at airport close 1 hour before scheduled time of departure for all AirAsia and AirAsia X flights. As congestion is expected at the security scanning, baggage clearance and immigration checkpoints during the long weekend, it is advisable to complete baggage drop and proceed to the boarding gate as early as possible.

Guests with group booking, reduced mobility or with special needs are only allowed to check-in at the counter and should allocate more time to clear all travelling formalities.

Both AirAsia and AirAsia X would like to wish all their Muslim guests Selamat Hari Raya Aidiladha and Happy Holidays to all other guests travelling throughout the long weekend.
