FEAST OF RAMADHAN AT THE LEGEND HOTEL, KUALA LUMPUR
Rejuvenate yourself after a day of fasting at Di-Atas Brasserie with family and friends over a sumptuous feast of berbuka puasa favourites. Available throughout Ramadhan from 1 to 29 August 2011, the Feast of Ramadhan promotion is priced at RM88.00++ per person (adult) and RM44.00++ (child). Diners who purchase the early bird vouchers before 15 July 2011 will be entitled to a special rate of RM70 nett.
After a day of refraining from food and water, let our Executive Sous Chef Samsuddin Ahmad and his dedicated crew of passionate cooks showcase their culinary expertise as you take a whiff of the aroma and relish a plentiful selection of over 100 Malaysian and international favourites each day all under one roof, with a selection of seven menus to be rotated on a daily basis. The spotlight this year is on stalls concept and there will be live cooking on each of the stalls – grilled, BBQ, fried and more. This ensures the food is cooked fresh for diners’ enjoyment.
Break fast with a refreshing glass of Air Bandung, Honey Dates Juice, Cincau and Cendol or a hot glass of tea, Teh Tarik or Nescafe Tarik accompanied with some dates or perhaps a slice of ‘kuih’. Then begin with a variety of appetizers consisting of Kerabu Pucuk Paku, Kerabu Mangga dan Udang, Ulam-Ulam and Pasembor, Rojak Mamak, Tauhu Sumbat, Smoked & Fresh Salmon, Fresh Seafood On Ice, Nasi Himpit Kuah Kacang, Daging Panggang Air Asam and various crudités before venturing into a bowl or two of Di-Atas Brasserie’s heart-warming soups: the signature Sup Gearbox, Sup Palembang, Soto Johor, Sup Kepala Ikan Tinggiri, Sup Ayam Bujut or western-style soups such as Roasted Cream of Pumpkin, Cream of Mushrooms with Garlic Toast and Oxtail Tomato Soup.
Next, head over to the main course section where specialties such as Ayam Percik Pelangi, Ikan Pari Bakar Legend and Ayam Goreng Penyet await diners. A large selection of pajeri such as Pajeri Nanas, Pajeri Mangga, Pajeri Bombay and Pajeri Rebung will also be served while a sumptuous spread of local tastes to international favourites such as Tenggiri Goreng Berlada, Kambing Gulai Kawah, Grilled Lamb with an assortment of sauces, Kerutup Daging, Baked Tandoori Fish, Marinated Pandan Chicken, Pattaya Fried Rice, Stir-fried Venison in Ginger, Ayam Masak Rempah Nangka Muda, Fried Mussels with Chilli, Ikan Pekasam Masak Lemak Pucuk Manis and Stir-fried Honey Soya Prawns will be available for your berbuka pleasure. Rendang lovers will also be pleased with a variety of rendang such as Rendang Tok, Redang Minang,
Rendang Ayam, Rendang Minangkabau and more. No Ramadhan is complete without the customary Bubur Lambuk, available daily for diners’ enjoyment.
Do make way to our action counters and stalls which offers a medley of favourites such as the signature Nasi Beriyani Gam Ayam accompanied by a medley of condiments, Nasi Bukhari, the innovative Roast Beef with Coconut-Turmeric Gravy, Grilled Fresh Seafood which consists of prawns, crabs, fish and stingray served with assorted sauces and dips, Lamb Percik as well as Chicken and Beef Satay. There will also be Assorted Tempura, Dim Sum and hawker stalls offering a-la-minute items such as Murtabak, Fried Kuey Teow, Popiah, Chicken and Beef Shawarma, Beef Noodles, Grilled Otak-Otak and BBQ Chicken Wings, all prepared on the spot. Meanwhile lamb lovers will enjoy the Roasted Whole Lamb Kuzi (Kambing Kuzi) served with Mint, Garlic, Paprika or Percik Sauce, with a whole lamb available every day throughout Ramadhan.
Be sure to leave some space for sweet delights as you would not want to miss our selection of marvellous desserts. Sink your teeth into mousses and creams of different kinds, jellies, tarts, cakes and crumbles, Crème Caramel and puddings. Other equally great bites include the sweet and sticky Dates Tart, Apple Pie, Blueberry Crumble, Jackfruit Pudding, Lemon Meringue Pie and Chocolate Mousse.
Alternatively you may want to sample our selection of local sweets – the rich Sago Gula Melaka, soft and chewy Dodol Gula Melaka and the satisfying Ais Kacang with Ice Cream. Whatever it is, don’t miss the Black Glutinous Rice Pudding with Dates, Coconut Dates Cookies and the delicious Indonesian Layer Cake with Dates – our Pastry Chef’s signature creation for this year’s Ramadhan. There will also be a selection of buburs daily – Bubur Durian, Bubur Pulut Hitam, Pengat Pisang, Bubur Labu, Bubur Barli dan Sago and Bubur Cha-Cha. With such a wide variety everyone is bound to find something that he/she likes.
For the convenience of guests, Di-Atas Brasserie also offers Sahur daily from 4.00 am to Imsak at RM32.00++ per person. The menus will be rotated daily and will feature lighter and healthier foods to sustain oneself for the fast ahead.
