Airasia Not Involved With Lottery Programs

It has come to our attention that the public have been receiving email messages from an entity identifying itself as “AirAsia (Asia Pacific Regional Headquarters)”, with “Kota Kinabalu International Airport, Old Airport Road, Tanjung Aru Sabah” as a business address, declaring them as winners of a lottery program called the “2013 AirAsia High 5 Special Bonus”.

AirAsia neither organized such programs nor authorized any company/organization/gaming establishment to hold a lottery program on our behalf. The public is advised to ignore such email messages as it is a fraud and, AirAsia shall not be held liable for any claims pertaining to the false lottery program.

We have reported the matter to the authorities as we are deeply concerned about how such misrepresentation may mislead and cause substantial losses to the public, and to safeguard AirAsia from reputational damage.

The public could to refer to official AirAsia communication channels, should they have any enquiries on matters pertaining to AirAsia:
