AirAsia Japan celebrates inaugural flight to Seoul
TOKYO, 29 October 2012 – AirAsia Japan, the newest low-cost carrier (LCC) based in Narita International Airport started their international operations with the inaugural flight to Seoul, Korea yesterday.
AirAsia Japan operates daily flights from Narita to Seoul and the inaugural flight saw an 80% flight load signifying a healthy start to AirAsia Japan’s first international destination.
AirAsia Japan’s Chief Executive Officer, Kazuyuki Iwakata comments, “I am very pleased with the realization of our very first international route, only after three months since our domestic operations started. Expanding our routes into other Asian countries, including Korea will be key to the future growth of AirAsia Japan.”
